Sharing Christian love one piece of furniture at a time.

CUMC Furniture Ministry

For over ten years our Clemmons United Methodist Church Furniture Ministry has been helping families and friends in the Winston-Salem/Clemmons area by providing furniture and bedding for those in need. Many of the friends we support with furniture and bedding are friends moving into an apartment or home after experiencing homelessness or living in a shelter.

Below you will find additional information on this ministry including ways of reaching out to donate furniture and bedding and opportunities to volunteer and help make an impact on the lives of our brothers and sisters in Christ.

Volunteers:

We are in need of YOUR hands and feet! Our volunteer team is the heart and soul of this ministry picking up donations, organizing donations, and delivering furniture and bedding to our friends in need within the community. We are looking to greatly expand our volunteer teams so that our volunteers can stay refreshed and energized for this amazing ministry! If interested in volunteering, please complete and submit the below form or contact Dawn Tuttle directly at dmtuttle4@gmail.com or 336-978-5687. You can volunteer for as many volunteer teams as you would like! Please note there may not be a delivery needed every weekend nor that you are required to deliver or pick-up on your designated week/weekend. We are hoping to have enough volunteers on each team to provide flexibility for schedules.

Thank you for helping to be the hands and feet of Christ through the Clemmons UMC Furniture Ministry!
