Lace up for the Morning Watch 5K and Fun Run, benefiting Carolina Cross Connection, a Christian ministry serving individuals and families in need. This event will help raise funds to help CCC carry out its mission to offer free home repairs to western NC residents, to serve alongside the unhoused, and to provide care for orphans. We are seeking runners, sponsors, and volunteers for the MW5K.
All CUMC families are invited to join us for a special night of worship as we hear from our guest speakers Mitchell Wilbekin and Chaundee Brown from the Wake Forest Basketball Team. They'll give advice for young people and also talk about their faith in Christ. There will also be a time of Q&A.
Covenant Bible Study is a 24-week study broken down in three eight-week sessions based on the foundational concept of covenant relationships: creating, living and trusting. This course will include in-depth class discussions and geared for folks desiring a deeper relationship with Christ.
Bring your pledge to support our 2018 budget with you to all three services this Sunday. There will be an opportunity to place your pledge card on the cross or on the altar.
If you do not have a pledge card, extra cards are in each pew. If you are visiting as a guest, please feel no pressure to give. Those who call Clemmons UMC as their church home use this time as an offering of worship. Let the service be a gift to you.
Join us in the CUMC Ministry Center Wednesday, September 27th at 7:00 p.m. as we gather for coffee, dessert, and conversation around the table. This is the first in a series of four monthly Wednesday night gatherings . [9/27; 10/8; 11/15; and 12/6] So mark your calendar for all four dates and invite friends.
Young adults and adults of any age are invited to the lower level of the church (fellowship hall) each Thursday at 7pm for C3. Short, TED-talk style messages provided by Clark Chilton and other speakers will lead to engaging weekly group discussions and community. Childcare available.
