Stephen Ministry is a one-to-one ministry by trained, caring lay persons.  These caring individuals are members of Clemmons United Methodist Church who have gone through fifty hours of training to provider high quality Christian care to individuals experiencing a crisis or a challenge such as divorce, grief, loss of a job, hospitalization, relocation, or loneliness.  Stephen Ministers are each assigned to a care receiver and meet with that care receiver for about an hour a week.  This care relationship remains in effect for as long as the care receiver has need.
