Children's Ministry
We are pleased you are visiting us here at Clemmons United Methodist Church. We hope that you feel welcome as our guests. If you have children we wanted to let you know a little about our Children’s Ministries. We are dedicated to helping children know and grow in their relationship with God. There are several ways CUMC strives to bring up children in the faith, including: Children's Church, Sunday School, Children's Choirs, Vacation Bible School and various mission projects throughout the year. We hope that your children will find a place in some of these ministries.
Summer Servants Information Here
Nursery
During both the 8:40 am and 11:00 am worship services, a caring nursery is available for children, from birth through age 3. A pager system is available for nursery age children and their parents during Sunday School and Worship Services. Our nurseries are located in the following rooms: C102, C103, C104 and C105
Children’s Library
There is now a children’s media center located in room C209. Resources are available for children and parents to check out. We hope that families take advantage of these resources to grow in your faith.
Sunday School
Sunday School is held from 9:50 am – 10:50 am. Children, ages 3 through 5th grade will be participating in the Live B.I.G. Curriculum that uses inviting stories, role models, sights, and sounds that provide a foundation for Christian living that leads children to experience and mirror God in their everyday lives.
Summer Sunday School Information
At Clemmons UMC, we make every effort to provide a safe and secure environment for all children who come through our doors. Please take time to look over the blue Safe Sanctuary guidelines that are available in the church Narthex. If you have any questions regarding where any of the nursery or Sunday School rooms are located, please consult the facility maps scattered throughout the buildings or ask anyone you meet and they will be happy to help you with directions. We hope your visit here is meaningful and do not hesitate to contact the church staff with any questions you may have.
