FaithWorks is essentially two things:
- The stewardship & yearly pledge campaign for our church budget and
- our conduit to move church members to service: inside & outside the church
If you are an active church member and want to see where God might be calling you to serve in the life of Clemmons UMC & have yet to participate in FaithWorks, please follow the steps below.
If you are a guest or regular attender and would like more information about membership at Clemmons UMC or in the FaithWorks ministry, please contact our Associate Pastor Mark Portis at 766.6375 ext.24.
Steps toward serving at Clemmons UMC via Faithworks:
- Pray about where God might want you serving based on your strengths, giftings, and past experiences.
- Review the Faithworks 2010 Catalog (.pdf) for more detailed descriptions of each ministry area and how you can be of service. Carefully and prayerfull select the ministry areas(s) you think God might be calling you, then...
- Fill out the Faithworks Commitment Card (.pdf) and fax it to 336.766.0652 or drop it by the church office Monday-Thursday 8:30-4:30, or Friday 8:30-11:30.
- Based on your selections, wait for a ministry coordinator to contact you with further information.
Contracts can be broken; covenants cannot
At Clemmons United Methodist Church, we believe our covenant offering is what enables us to lift up Christ to one another, and to our world. There's no magic to it. The mission and ministry of Clemmons United Methodist does not happen without a broad base of resources: time, talents and finances. The most important contribution is the personal commitment, and conviction, of each individual.
By signing and returning this commitment card, you are pledging to be actively involved in the life and ministry of CUMC.
